Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp’s co-developed entry-level bike, the X440, has finally been launched in the Indian market. Prospective buyers can now book the bike for Rs 5,000 (fully refundable) right away online or at Harley or even premium Hero dealerships across India. Interestingly, the Harley-Davidson X440 is available in 29 states/union territories of India, making it easily accessible for those living in non-metro cities. The Harley-Davidson X440 is available in three variants - Denim, priced at Rs 2,29,000, Vivid at 2,49,000, and S at 2,69,000 (ex-showroom). The deliveries of the bike are expected to begin from October onwards. With the Harley-Hero partnership, the X440 will be manufactured at Hero’s Neemrana Factory in Rajasthan.
