The baby Harley we get vs the one we don't. Let’s see which one is better on paper

    Harley-Davidson X440 T vs X 350: Specification Compared In Detail

Harley-Davidson recently launched the X440 T in India, but overseas, the brand sells another X model — the Harley-Davidson X 350, which is a completely different bike that too with a parallel-twin engine. Here’s how both bikes stack up against each other on paper:

    Engine

    Specifications

    Harley-Davidson X440 T

    Harley-Davidson X 350

    Engine

    440cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder

    353cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin

    Power

    27PS at 6,000rpm

    36.2PS at 9,500rpm

    Torque

    38m at 4,000rpm

    31Nm at 7,000rpm

The Harley-Davidson X440 T uses the same torquey single-cylinder engine as the standard X440, delivering strong low-end grunt that suits Indian city riding and relaxed cruising.

The Harley-Davidson X 350, sold in markets like China and Australia, uses a 353cc parallel-twin engine, giving it a much sportier character. It revs higher and produces significantly more peak power, which should make it the more spirited of the two.  Here's a fun fact: The X 350 is made in collaboration with QJ Motors; hence, the engine is based on several 300cc and 500cc Benelli and QJ Motor bikes.

Both bikes have a similar suspension setup at the front, but at the rear, the X 350 gets a monoshock over the dual-shock absorbers on the Indian version. On paper, the X 350 has better stopping power as it has twin disc brakes at the front. The X 350 is also the more road-biased of the two due to the 17-inch wheel setup at both ends. That said, it is the X 440 T which should handle bad roads slightly better thanks to that larger 18-inch front wheel.

The Harley-Davidson X440 T offers better ground clearance which makes it more practical for our infamous Indian roads. On the other hand, the X 350 has a much more accessible seat height for shorter riders but has less ground clearance to tackle large potholes/speed bumps.

The Harley-Davidson X440 T is considerably more feature-rich with its TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support and two ride modes. Price & Verdict

    Harley-Davidson X440 T

    Harley-Davidson X 350

    Rs 2,79,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

AUD 8,495 (approx Rs 5.09 lakh)

Although the two motorcycles fall under Harley’s entry-level “X” family, they cater to very different markets.

The Harley-Davidson X440 T is tailored for India with more features, a torquey engine, better ground clearance and rider-friendly ergonomics. It offers significantly more value for Indian buyers.

The Harley-Davidson X 350, meanwhile, is a more performance-oriented urban bike meant for markets where smaller-capacity twin-cylinder motorcycles are popular. Its parallel-twin engine offers more excitement, but it lacks the modern features seen on the X440 T. The Harley-Davidson X 350 is not meant for the Indian market.

Don’t thing anything about this bike..grab it now
I choose this bike because for their iconic, timeless, and rugged aesthetic, providing a distinct sense of freedom and rebellion. Harley Davidson bikes are known for their heavy duty frames. The signature 45 degree twin engine creates a distinct potato sounds and i like this. My bike riding experience is characterised by high comfort, strong, torque performance and excellent stability, though I noticed wind fatigue and heavy weight at slow speed. I find this bike particularly comfort. Yes, the Harley Davidson bike is recommended as a highly capable comfortable, and peppy urban cruiser. The suspension is plush, handling rough roads well and the seat is well padded. If you are looking for a reliable, feature pick this bike.

      Great Bike In This Segment
As per an expensive brand little hard about the maintenance but no compromise in comfort and styling. If you are a Harley fan then it's a great advantage for you.
