Harley-Davidson has unveiled a new variant of the X440, called the X440T. This new variant comes with a few design changes that have made it look much sportier than before. It will be launched in India on December 6, 2025. Recently, Bollywood star Ahaan Pandey was also seen riding the new X440T, in a now viral video.
What Is New?
The Harley-Davidson X440T gets a sleeker looking rear section, with a neatly integrated tail-light and a different looking rear mud-guard. Additionally, this variant has also got a different ribbed seat.
This variant gets bar-end mirrors instead of handlebar-mounted ones like on the standard X440, giving it a cleaner look. Lastly, there is a new heat shield on the exhaust end-can.
The new variant will be offered in 4 colours: a black, red, white and dark blue shade. All feature similar ‘Harley-Davidson X440T’ graphics on the tank, in addition to sporty checkered graphics on the side-panel and tail section.
Harley-Davidson has likely given this variant a ride-by-wire throttle, so we can expect electronic riding aids like a traction control system, in addition to bits like riding modes.
What Likely Remains Unchanged?
This variant is likely powered by the same 440cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 27.4PS at 6000rpm and 38Nm at 4000rpm. It should also get features such as smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.

We think the T variant could have a Rs 10,000 premium over the S variant. This should put it close to Rs 2.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

The biggest change in the bike is the redesigned tail section, which makes it look much sportier than the standard X440. We thought it left a lot of dead space between the rear tyre and the subframe. That said, it now looks quite similar to the bigger Harley-Davidson XR1200, which was sold over 2 decades ago, and feels more premium.
