Next-Gen KTM 790 Adventure Spied Testing: Here’s All You Need To Know
The bike looks more rugged and off-road-ready than before!

After the recent launch of the 2027 KTM 790 Duke, the next-generation KTM 790 Adventure has been spotted testing. Spy shots reveal refreshed styling, a new headlight, and upgraded braking hardware. Here's a closer look:
What’s New
From the spy shots, we can see a refreshed front-end with a new projector headlamp, along with new LED DRLs. Overall, the visual bulk of the bike has been reduced as the front-end looks much slimmer than before. The bike also gets a tall windscreen to help with wind buffeting at high speeds.

From the side, we can see a redesigned tank along with new bodywork. The bodywork looks much sportier than before. However, it's worth noting that this is a test mule, and KTM could add more elements to the production-ready bike. From the spy shots, we can also see a long single seat instead of the split seat that we get on the current-gen bike.
Feature-wise, we could expect a similar 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, music control, and call and SMS alerts. We can also expect multiple ride modes, cruise control, lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS with off-road mode, and much more. KTM could also drop the Demo Mode that is present in the current-gen bike, which would limit features such as cruise control and the quickshifter for the first 1,500km before the buyer decides to purchase them.

The bike is expected to be powered by the same 799cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine as the new 790 Duke. It produces around 95PS and 87Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quickshifter.
From the spy shots, the bike appears to be running on a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch wheel at the rear. It gets a WP Apex inverted fork and a WP Apex monoshock. We could also see new WP-branded calipers on the test bike, similar to those on the newly launched KTM 790 Duke.
BikeDekho Says
The KTM 790 Adventure was always a popular model in KTM's international lineup, and the next-generation bike looks even sportier and purpose-built than before. This update would make the 790 Adventure a more compelling option in the middleweight ADV segment.
