Triumph Bonneville 350 Expert Overview
Overview
The Triumph Bonneville 400 was first spotted testing overseas. It was then recently spied in an almost-production form in India. It might also be called the Triumph Bonneville 350. It is likely to be launched in India in June 2026.
Price
The upcoming Triumph Bonneville 350 is likely to be priced around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It won’t be an affordable model like the Speed T4 since it has the authentic retro design with premium finish.
Variants
Triumph is expected to keep things simple by offering the Bonneville 350 in just one variant.
Colours
The 400cc version of this bike was spotted testing overseas in an all-black paint scheme, with a combination of both, gloss and matte black. However, it is expected to be available in both dark and bright shades. The one spotted in India had a gloss black finish.
Design
It features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, clean side panels, round LED headlight, tail light and indicators. The styling draws inspiration from bigger Bonneville models, offering a premium, proper retro appeal.
Engine
The India-spec bike is expected to be powered by a 350cc engine, derived from the existing 400cc motor. The smaller 350cc motor is to keep its pricing in check under GST 2.0, making the bike more affordable while retaining the classic Bonneville design.
While the capacity is smaller, the performance should not drop by all that much. It will still offer smooth and usable power delivery for everyday riding.
Underpinnings
The Bonneville 350 will use conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers, keeping things simple and in line with its retro character. Braking duties will be handled by disc brakes at both ends, along with dual-channel ABS. The front disc gets an axial caliper to keep the costs in check. The bike rolls on spoke wheels with road-biased tubed tyres.
Features
Unlike the other 350cc Triumph bikes which get a semi digital console, the Bonneville 400 features a circular console, which looks like a TFT unit. This suggests that the Bonneville 350 might have added functionality while retaining a classic layout. Other features could include a USB charging port, dual-channel ABS and a switchable traction control system.
Rivals
Once launched, the Triumph Bonneville 350 will go up against the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 350, and Honda CB350.
