Yamaha Aerox 155 New Colours Launched In Malaysia
The new colours look absolutely stunning
Yamaha has launched new colours for the NVX 155 in Malaysia. The NVX 155 is essentially the same scooter that’s sold in India as the Yamaha Aerox 155. In Malaysia it comes in 2 variants, the standard version and the ABS variant. Both variants have now received 2 new colours.
The standard variant gets the new blue and bronze colour. The Blue colour scheme comes with a dark blue shade and gets stylish red and black graphics with ‘NVX 155’ written in black and ‘VVA’ written in white. The apron interior and body panels come with a black finish.
The Bronze colour has a similar finish, with bronze being used for the body complemented by similar graphics but with cyan and orange. ‘NVX 155’ is written in orange and ‘VVA’ is written in black. The apron interior and body panels come with the same black finish as the Blue colour scheme.
In the ABS variant, there are two colours offered: Cyan Sky and Premium Navy. The Cyan Sky colour scheme features a cyan finish on the body and a triple tone graphics with white, black and blue. The Premium Navy comes with a dark navy blue finish on the body, with graphics in blue and black with golden pin stripes giving a premium look overall. These new colours definitely look very attractive and we’d love it if Yamaha brings them to India!
The main difference between the two variants is that the ABS variant comes with single-channel ABS and gas-charged twin shocks in the rear. The ABS variant is also similar to the recently launched Aerox S version and comes with a smart key and related features. Also note that the India spec version does not come with gas charged shock absorbers.
Other than the addition of new colours, there hasn’t been any changes made to the scooter’s performance and it is still powered by the same 155cc, liquid-cooled engine with Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It produces 15.4 PS and 13.9 Nm.
The NVX 155 is sold in Malaysia at ex-showroom prices of RM 9,998 for the Standard version, which is around Rs 1.74 lakh. The ABS variant costs RM 11,698 which comes to around Rs 2.04 lakh, a massive jump from what it is sold in India. For perspective, the top of the line Aerox 155 S Version only costs Rs 1,50,600 ex-showroom Delhi. So we’re definitely not complaining!

- Good scooty with lots of flaws to be correctedBecause of its performance. It looks good. It has a good pickup and the balance is also very good. The agility is also decent. And the engine is super refined. And it stands out in its competition easily. I have a mixed experience with this bike. The battery got dead in just 6000 km. I had to replace the battery. The issue with the rear rim was the worst. The socket in which the rim fits it got loose and when i went to the service centre, they didn't come up with the solution. The front suspension is so hard that you can't even take small pots on the road. And the fit and finish can be much better. The rear break is week. If the road condition is very good and millage is not an issue and someone who wants a scooter which can deliver power and has a good road presence can consider it. - Yamaha Aerox dashing review.I choose this because of the muscular looks and the bulkiness. I love the muscular looks specially this Yamaha Aerox. And the feel when you ride this giant scooter on road everyone see this like how a scooter looks like this muscular. Ride is comfortable and smooth braking system. And specially the disc is so much good that you just put your fingers on the brake and it stop immediately. And the comfortness of the back rider is also good. Yes who need a muscular body type scooty obviously go for it blind foldy. You get a smooth experience when your ride it on road. - yamaha aerox 155 Reviewi choose this bike because it looked good , i specifically liked the red and black combo , the red wheels looks amazing and i liked the styling of the scooter, mileage was also amazing like other scooters. The ride is amazing i have went many places in this scooter with my friend and we have yet not faced any major issue during the ride we took it off road to jungle road also but everything was fine specifically the suspensions better as compared to other scooters in market . i think students should buy this its a little rough and tough it looks good has a good pickup has a decent storage space and finally gives a good milage and it does not make any loud sounds during the start so you can easily take it out for night outs.Read More12 10
