To promote girl child education in India, Triumph has shaken hands with Smile foundation and will be organizing a ‘Ride for Freedom’ on this Independence Day. ‘Ride for Freedom’ has been planned to cover 12 dealerships to increase the concerns of people regarding the cause.

Smile Foundation is an NGO, who works to provide healthcare, education and livelihood to girl child and underprivileged children. It also shouts loud in women empowerment programs. To strengthen the educational background of girls in India, all the participants will be taking a pledge and are requested to donate an amount from Rs. 500 to Rs. 4200.

All the cities, where the Triumph dealerships are established, will witness the ‘Ride for Freedom’ and riders will be starting their rides from the respective hubs.

Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “Girls are still not allowed to right for education in many parts of India. True Independence is when all citizens can enjoy all the fundamental rights of our country. As India enters into its 69 years of Independence, Triumph Motorcycle owners will Ride their bikes to pledge for this Freedom.”
