Triumph’s entry-level Speed 400 has finally been launched in the Indian market. After its global unveil last week, pre-bookings for both bikes started right away at Triumph’s website and dealerships across India for Rs 2000.
With the Triumph-Bajaj partnership, the bikes will be manufactured at Bajaj’s Chakan plant (2.0) and will be sold via Triumph’s dealerships exclusively. As per the official website, Triumph currently has 15 dealerships and the brand also has ambitious plans to expand its dealer network to 100 showrooms across 80 cities this year. Triumph has priced the Speed 400 at an insane Rs 2.33 lakh, and if you are among the first 10,000 lucky customers you can get the bike for Rs 2.23 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries of the bike are also set to start this month. The Scrambler 400 X’s price will be revealed in October, and the bike will hit the showrooms in the same month.
