I have ridden this bike for about 215+ kms non-stop through Chennai city traffic and on the highway. This vehicle has a punchy engine with fantastic acceleration and a buttery smooth engine, gear, and clutch. There's no feeling of strain while using them due to their smoothness. The handling is excellent on both wet and dry roads. In terms of mileage, I've gotten around 42 kmpl and checked it four times. I refilled fuel every 47 kmpl and 45 kmpl. The sitting comfort for the pillion rider was good, although a little hard for the rider. However, the Royal Enfield Hunter's seat was soft, but adding a cushion would solve the issue of softness. The overall ride quality is top-notch due to the long gearing ratio. It takes a while to change gears, and there's no space for engine vibration. There's absolutely zero vibration even at speeds of 100+ km/h. The engine is refined and smooth, and confident cornering is possible thanks to the wider tires that provide superior grip. Overall maintenance is decent, a bit on the higher side, but the duration of each service interval is quite long, so there's no need to worry much about it. There have been no failures or cons as this vehicle has clocked more than 48,000 kms so far (which is excellent for touring purposes).
