The Yamaha R15S sees the biggest price hike
For the second time in two months, Yamaha has increased the prices of some of its two-wheelers. While the price increment isn’t too steep across the board, the Japanese marque’s popular R15S sees its price go up by Rs 1,000.
This is the fourth time since April 2022 that Team Blue have hiked the prices, and this time the hike across their motorcycle and scooter range varies from Rs 700 to Rs 1,000. Here’s a quick glance at the revised prices for July 2022:

As seen from the table, the quantum of hike does not look severe. Despite the hike, the R15S is still Rs 25,961 less expensive than the KTM RC 125, while packing more power and better features. In a related development, Yamaha recently launched a new colour scheme for the R15S. Read about it here.
