When you sit on a seat, you can immediately notice the difference in new R model and the S model. The new monster has many positive features like it turns quicker, is more accurate, and holds its line with sports bike like accuracy. Besides this, its engine produces the maximum power of 160bhp at 9250rpm and the peak torque of 131.5Nm at 7750rpm. Its revised footpeg position helps to slide the foot back, allows to ride with toes on the pegs. This small, but the significant improvement over the S and the standard model finally addresses the criticism which has been leveled at the Monster for over two decades.
