Price
The Ampere Primus is available in a single variant and retails for Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Delhi, including Fame II). It is available in four colours: Royal Orange, Havelock Blue,Himalayan White, and Buck Black.
Features
The e-scooter features an LCD instrument console showing speedmometer, charge status, mode selection, and distance to empty. It gets Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation. Also on offer is a dedicated Ampere Companion app with readouts for the charging status and alerts for errors regarding the motor, controller, throttle and display.
Powertrain
The Ampere Primus is powered by a mid-mounted motor (claimed first-in-segment) making 3.4kW nominal and 4kW peak power, and claims a top speed of 77kmph with a 0-40kmph acceleration time of less than 4.2 seconds. The motor is paired to a 3kWh LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) battery which offers a claimed range of 107km, and features three ride modes: Eco, City, and Power, along with a reverse mode.
Suspension and Brakes
The Ampere Primus gets a conventional fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking components comprise 130mm drums front and rear, with CBS as standard.
