Ampere Zeal EX Latest Update
The Zeal EX is the most affordable e-scooter from the Coimbatore-based manufacturer. It comes with a sporty design that’s reminiscent of the older-gen Honda Dio.

Ampere Zeal EX comes in a Blue shade, and is priced at Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Features:
Ampere Zeal EX comes with apron-mounted halogen headlight, with taillight and indicators being halogen as well. It comes with a 150kg loading capacity.
Motor:
The Zeal EX is powered by a hub motor with a peak power of 1.8kW. The motor is linked to a 60V, 2.3kWh battery, which takes 5 hours to get fully charged, by a 7.5A charger. The e-scooter comes with an ARAI certified range of 120km and reaches a claimed 55kmph top speed.
Suspension & Brakes:
Ampere Zeal Ex is suspended by a telescopic front-fork and dual rear shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by drum units at both front and rear.
Rivals:
The Ampere Zeal EX rivals the likes of the Okinawa Ridge, Okinawa Lite, Hero Electric Optima and the Bounce Infinity E1. In a similar price bracket, you could also consider buying petrol-powered scooters like the Honda Dio, Honda Activa 6G, or the Hero Pleasure Plus.
