Okinawa Lite Summary

Okinawa offers two low-speed lithium-ion powered electric scooters and the Lite is one of the funkier-looking e-scooter. It retails at Rs 66,993 (ex-showroom, without subsidies), making it the second most affordable Okinawa e-scooter.

The Lite packs a 250 Watt BLDC hub motor alongside a 1. 25kWh removable lithium-ion battery and can reach a claimed top speed of 25kmph. The Lite e-scooter has a maximum range of 60km, and it takes 4-5 hours to charge fully. With a healthy 160mm ground clearance, 150kg loading capacity and a decent 17-litre boot space, the Okinawa Lite is pretty practical. Other features include a battery lock, keyless operation, hazard function, and a USB port.

The e-scooter uses a telescopic fork, twin rear shock absorbers, disc brake up front and a drum unit at the rear. In terms of rivals, it goes up against Hero Electric Eddy, and the BGauss A2.
