The Okinawa iPraise+ is the EV maker’s second most premium product in the country retailing at Rs 1,13,023 (ex-showroom without subsidies).
The i-Praise boasts of features such as geofencing, speed alerts, immobiliser, battery health tracker, continuous monitoring, trips, walk assistance (forward and reverse), maintenance/insurance reminder, vehicle status among others. Customers can access these features via the Okinawa Eco app available on the Google Play store. Its subscription cost stands at Rs 1,000 per year + GST.
The i-Praise is powered by a 1000W BLDC motor that makes 2. 7kW. When paired with the 3. 6kWh lithium-ion battery, the e-scooter can deliver a range of 137km in Sports mode, along with a top speed of 50kmph. Thanks to the lithium-ion battery, the i-Praise can be fully charged within 4-5 hours.
The electric scooter comes with a 800mm, a loading capacity of 150kg, and a decent ground clearance of 175mm. Underpinnings include disc brakes at both ends, telescopic front fork, and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers. The scooter is available in three colour options: Glossy Red Black, and Glossy Silver Black. The Okinawa i-Praise goes against the Hero Electric Photon in terms of performance but in this price range, you can also go for the Ola S1, and TVS iQube Electric.
