The Yezdi Scrambler is a 334cc modern scrambler from Jawa Yezdi motorcycles. It shares its engine with the Yezdi Adventure and Roadster.
Yezdi Scrambler Price:
The three colour variants of the Yezdi Scrambler (Bold Black, Yelling Yellow, Outlaw Olive) are all priced at Rs 2,11,900 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Yezdi Scrambler Features:
The Yezdi Scrambler comes with an all-LED lighting, and has an all-digital single-pod instrument console. It has dual-channel ABS, that has three modes: Road, Off-road and Rain. The bike comes with minimalistic body panels, a high-mounted fender up front, an upswept exhaust and a single-piece seat. You can even equip the bike with an optional headlight grill and knuckle guards, for enhanced safety.
Yezdi Scrambler Engine:
The Yezdi Scrambler is powered by an OBD-2 compliant, Jawa Perak-derived single-cylinder, 334cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine. However, the bikemaker has used a different piston and tuned the mill differently to suit the bike’s character. This engine churns out 29.12PS and 28.21Nm and it works in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission. With OBD-2 updates, the engine also receives refinement tweaks, redesigned exhausts and a larger rear sprocket for better low-end performance.
Yezdi Scrambler Suspension & Brakes:
The Yezdi Scrambler is built on a double-cradle frame, which is suspended by 41mm telescopic front fork and gas-filled twin rear shock absorbers with preload adjustability. Braking duties are looked after by a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, with standard dual-channel ABS. The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, which are wrapped in 100-section and 140-section tubed tyres.
Yezdi Scrambler Rivals:
The Yezdi Scrambler goes up against the likes of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 and the Honda CB350RS. However, the Yezdi Scrambler has better off-road capabilities, giving it a slight edge over its rivals.

Scrambler Expert Review
The Yezdi Scrambler is, as the name suggests, the scrambler offering from Yezdi. It comes with a rugged design and styling that screams “scrambler,” with large spoke wheels and a powerful 334cc engine. Here’s how the bike performs in the real world:
Design
The Yezdi Scrambler’s design is quite rugged. It features a round headlight with a grill, combined with a raised front fender similar to what we see on motocross bikes. The front fork is covered with fork gaiters, making it look off road-ready. The handlebar is tall and comes with knuckle guards for protection and visual appeal.
The bike features twin upswept exhausts and the rear section is a chopped-up unit with a small taillight and round indicators.
Engine, Mileage & Performance
The Scrambler features the same 334cc liquid-cooled engine that we have seen on the Jawa Perak. But the engine here comes with a different turning and is not only more performance-oriented but borderline crazy. The engine urges the rider to push harder and rev its guts out all the way to the redline, and this is despite the fact that the engine on the Scrambler is the least powerful of the Yezdi trio. The bike overall feels a bit more eager to go than even the Yezdi Adventure.
Although the Scrambler’s performance sounds exciting, its biggest letdown is the unrefined and almost gruff nature. We know a short-stroke engine won’t be a smooth operator, but this one feels like the roughest of the three offerings from Yezdi.
The bike has vibes, with a mild buzz creeping in at the foot pegs at around 4000rpm. As the speed rises, the vibrations progress over to the tank and can finally be felt at the handlebars, becoming more and more bothersome as the redline inches closer.
Lastly, the peaky nature of the engine also limits tractability. Under 3000rpm, anything less than half a throttle above the third gear will cause vibrations. This leads to a situation where the rider will be constantly working the gearbox and making sure the revs stay high enough during commutes or even on highway trips.
Handling & Ride Quality
The wide handlebar, mid-set footpegs and tank grips of the Scrambler keep the rider locked in place. The suspension setup that is a bit towards the firmer side helps the bike stay stable around corners. The bike, overall, is highly agile and almost feels like a street naked when it comes to handling on road.
But this good performance on road limits the bike’s performance off-road. The Yezdi Scrambler has 200mm of ground clearance, with 150mm suspension travel at the front and 130mm at the rear, but the stiff nature of the suspension makes it hard to absorb most bumps and potholes.
The tyres also don’t inspire much confidence when off-roading, and there’s this apparent inability to find grip on rocks. This issue is more apparent with the wider section front tyre, but there’s an easy fix for that: replace it with one that has a smaller section.
Coming to the brakes, the bite from the 320mm front disc is quite strong and inspires confidence, and there’s also a steady progression from the lever throughout the braking action. The bike also offers three ABS modes: Road, Off-road and Rain. The difference comes down to the level of ABS intervention, with Road and Rain modes having greater intrusion. The difference between the two is minimal but the Rain mode overall has the faster intervention.
Finally, Off-road mode switches off the ABS in the rear. It gives greater control by allowing the rider to lock the rear wheel, something that is useful when riding offroad.
Comfort
The Yezdi Scrambler offers a neutral and upright riding posture. Its riding geometry is really comfortable and can accommodate long rides without any discomfort being felt. The long single-piece seat also adds to the overall comfort that the bike is able to provide. It is neither too soft or too hard, striking that perfect balance in terms of comfort.
Features
The Scrambler gets the same single-pod digital instrument console as the Yezdi Roadster, and the same issues with low visibility under direct sunlight continues here. Other than that, the Scrambler gets 3 ABS modes, as mentioned above in the Handling and Ride Quality section.
Should you buy Yezdi Scrambler
The Yezdi Scrambler is an interesting bike, offering good performance with that rugged scrambler appeal.. It is more of a scrambler-style motorcycle than a real scrambler that you would take off-road, since its suspension is a bit stiff and engine refinement isn’t up to the mark. But even with these issues the bike is a lot of fun and gives a very comfortable riding experience. If you are looking for a scrambler style bike then the Yezdi Scambler is a good choice.
