Yamaha MT-07 is a motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 7.50 Lakh. It is available in India in 1 variant and 3 colours with high end variant price starting from Rs 7.50 Lakh. MT-07 is powered by a 689 ccbs6 engine which develops a power of 73.4 PS and a torque of 67 Nm. It has Double Disc front brakes and Disc rear brakes. The weight of Yamaha MT-07 is 184 kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 14 L.

Yamaha has showcased the MT-07 at a dealer event in India. Here’s when we think the bike could be launched in India. 

Yamaha unveiled the new MT-07 back in 2021. The new motorcycle received a set of cosmetic and mechanical updates. The biggest difference was the new LED headlight, similar to that on the new Yamaha MT-09. The new MT-07 looks sportier and sleeker than its predecessor while continuing to feature an LCD console.

The 680cc parallel twin motor produces 73.4PS and 67Nm, a bit less than before. Better brakes have been thrown at the MT-07 with larger 298mm discs at the front and the bike comes with Michelin Road 5 tyres. 

The MT-07 could be launched in India around June-July. With a price tag of around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom), it’ll rival the Kawasaki Z650 and the Honda CB650R.
