I have purchased TVS Star City on 2012, This is my first review after riding 5000 km. I just bought this bike only for low price.. coz my dad's budget s not more than Rs 55000. I had a big confusion of what to choose between Splendor, Star City and Hero passion. I usually ride splendor, my uncle owned it.. So I go for a change. Then I choose TVS Star City without any hesitation.
My friends were suggesting Honda Shine, Twister, at least Passion.. But i ignored them.
If you are looking for a bike which have the better mileage, better control, better pickup then I genuinely suggest you to buy this bike. It give better features in a low price.The best thing about this bike is its average is very very good and mileage is approx 70-75 kmpl.
I always go to college with my bike during the final days.. I usually go with 70 to 80kmph on NH.. My top speed was 98kmph. It gives a excellent handling even at 80kmph. Now the engine is well set.. It gives a mileage of about 75 kmpl at city.. I usually ride within 50kmph in cities. This bike has good road grip even on wet roads. Excellent bike!! designed for youths.
