My name is Rounak. I bought TVS sport on 25 Aug. 2013. In the period of two years its odometer crosses 15000 kms mark. All services provided by the company are done. Now it delivers mileage of 45-50 kmpl in city. Within the period of using I have come across some serious issue related to performance and various parts of this bike. Before describing its issue, show you the positive side of this bike. The bike got attractive looks, Noise free engine, very comfortable seats, and the handling characteristics are awesome. The bike has very light in weight that makes it easy to handle.
Now the issues are:
The gearbox stuck sometimes creating trouble in traffic especially 1st and 2nd gear. Bike kick jammed after 16 months and very hard to start. The self button becomes useless. There is a sound observed below speedometer due to rotation of mechanical component (mechanical input device of speedometer). The brakes are not enough to stop the bike and sometimes bike skid when you apply sudden brakes.
All above things mentioned is not only my experience but many of other people.
Still I am satisfied about this bike due to its cost and looks…
