The Jawa 42 2.1 is a retro-styled roadster bike and the entry-level model in the brand’s lineup. A slightly modern classic version of the old Jawa, the Jawa 42 2.1 now also comes with style upgrades and new dual-tone colour options.

Jawa 42 Price:

The Jawa 42 is available in two variants: Jawa 42 Single Tone and Jawa 42 Dual Tone. The pricing of Jawa 42 for the single-tone variant starts at Rs. 1,89,142, while the top-end dual-tone variant is available at Rs. 1,98,142, ex-showroom, Delhi. 

The bike comes in eight colour choices to choose from which include: single-tone Cosmic Carbon, Sirius White, All Star Black, and Orion Red, and dual-tone body paints Infinity Black, Celestial Copper, Starship Blue, and Cosmic Rock.

Jawa 42 Engine:

The Jawa 42 gets a BS6.2-compliant 294.72cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, the engine makes 27.32 PS of power and 26.84 Nm of torque. 

Jawa 42 Suspension & Brakes:

The Jawa 42 is built on a double-cradle frame with a telescopic fork at the front and gas-filled twin shock absorbers with adjustable preload at the rear. For braking, the Jawa 42 comes with a 282 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, and it also gets dual-channel ABS as standard. It has a 90/90-18 tubeless tyre at the front and 120/80-17 at the rear.

The Jawa 42 gets a ground clearance of 165 mm and has a seat height of 788 mm. It also gets a 12-5-litre fuel tank.
