July 1, 2017:ย With the GST tax norms coming into effect, Honda hasย revised pricesย of the Dream Neo. The Dream Neo now retails at Rs 50,001 (ex-Delhi).ย ย The bike comes with the same engine that was incorporated into its elder brother, Dream Yuga. The only difference remain in the appearance and styling of the bike. The entry level 110cc commuter bike caters well to the common people due to its fuel-efficient engine. The bike is seen as a tough competitor for Hero MotoCorp Splendor, TVS Star City and other leading commuters of India. It comes in five colour schemes with stylish graphics: Alfa Red Metallic, Black with Violet stripes, Pearl Amazing White, Black with Red stripes and Monsoon Grey Metallic. Available in three variants: kick-spoke, kick-alloy and self-alloy, it is priced at Rs. 42,391, Rs. 46,180 and Rs. 48,626 respectively (all prices, ex showroom Delhi).ย

July 1, 2017: With the GST tax norms coming into effect, Honda has revised prices of the Dream Neo. The Dream Neo now retails at Rs 50,001 (ex-Delhi). Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched another model in its Dream series of motorcycles to fill the empty spaces of the commuter segment.
Christened as Honda Dream Neo, It derives its styling from its elder sibling - Dream Yuga. Released in Bollywood-style, the bike carries a tagline “Apni film ka superstar” to make the owner feel like a superstar. The prime focus of the bike is on the hassle-free everyday commuting with a nice fuel economy.
Honda Dream Neo is housed with the same 109.19cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine which powers its former mate, Dream Yuga. The engine delivers a maximum power of 8.25bhp at 7500rpm with a peak torque of 8.63Nm at 550rpm. It comes with a four-speed gearbox which enables the rider to hit a topspeed of 86kmph. The engine is tuned to HET (Honda Eco Technology) which help the bike return a decent mileage of 74kmpl.
The body of Honda Dream Neo is built on a Diamond-type chassis. The bike comes fitted with 80/100-18 tubeless tyres at both ends. Honda has equipped the motorcycle to front telescopic fork and rear spring loaded hydraulic type shock absorbers. There’s a set of 130mm drum brakes at the front and rear to ensure effective braking.
The 110cc commuter comes with six-spoke black alloy wheels. Honda Dream Neo has a fuel tank capacity of 8 liter. The bike breathes through a viscous air-filter which is very friendly in terms of maintenance cost. A longer seat and a sleek-black silencer bring some more smiles to the common man. Honda Dream Neo is a worthy day-to-day bike which offers combined benefits of refinement, pleasant looks and commendable fuel efficiency.
Design
The body dynamics of Honda Dream Neo resembles a traditional utility-based commuter bike. It receives an smart headlamp section with a black coloured visor at the front. A longer seat comforts the rider and the pillion. The bike comes with an all-black theme that make it look like a premium commuter bike. Its rear end looks appealing with a trapezoidal tail lamp and stylish body coloured grab rail. Its dimensions are 2,009mm x 737mm x 1,074mm (LxWxH) that makes easy to master. A wheelbase of 1,258mm along with a 179mm ground clearance offers stability and improved handling to the rider. The total kerb weight of Honda Dream Neo sums up to 107kgs.
The instrument console goes traditional with an analogue speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. The bike also features a sleek black silencer that further enhances its appearance. Honda Dream Neo comes in five different shades with attractive graphics that are Black with Violet stripes, Pearl Amazing White, Alfa Red Metallic, Black with Red stripes and Monsoon Grey Metallic.
Engine, Mileage & Performance
Honda Dream Neo is propelled by the same 109.19cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine that serve its siblings- CD 100 Dream and Dream Yuga. The mill comes linked to a four-speed gearbox which employs wet multiplate clutch assembly. It generates a maximum power of 8.25bhp at 7,500rpm with a peak torque of 8.36Nm at 5,500rpm. The bike comes with to start options: electric start and kick start. With a compression ratio of 9.9:1, the bike delivers a butter-smooth performance along with a good throttle response. The air-cooled engine has a bore x stroke ratio of 50mm x 55.6mm and the company claims a top speed of 86kmph for the bike. It returns a commendable fuel economy of 74kmpl with the incorporation of Honda Eco Technology (HET).
Handling & Ride Quality
Honda Dream Neo is built on a diamond frame that comes mounted with telescopic forks at the front and spring loaded hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The braking system has 130mm drum brakes at both the ends. The bike runs gracefully on 80/100-18 front and rear tubeless tyres which ensure a smoother and comfortable ride. These are further mounted on stylish six-spoke black alloy wheels that make it look sporty. A single piece handlebar is fitted in the bike to control its handling.
