The much-awaited cruiser is slated to be launched on November 6

[Update: Royal Enfield has launched the Meteor 350 in India. Head here for the pricing and other details regarding the launch]

Will be the first bike based on Royal Enfield’s new ‘J’ platform.  The 349cc single-cylinder engine makes 20.4PS and 27Nm. Gets a semi-digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity & turn-by-turn navigation.

Royal Enfield has released a short clip revealing the exhaust note of the soon-to-be-launched Meteor 350. Loyalists will be pleased to know that the bike more or less retains its iconic thump and in fact sounds better than the BS6 Classic 350. Well, at least in the video. The bike is slated to be launched on November 6, 2020 which is when folks could head to the nearest Royal Enfield showroom to check out the bike in person.

This will be the first bike from Royal Enfield which is based on its new ‘J’ platform. The platform brings with it a brand new, hopefully vibe-free engine, along with features like a semi-digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity & turn-by-turn navigation.

The Meteor 350 is powered by an all-new 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected motor which makes 20.4PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm, mated to a 5-speed transmission. If you would like a complete lowdown of the Meteor 350, click here

Once launched, it will take on the Jawa, Benelli Imperiale 400, Bajaj Dominar 400, and Honda's crown jewel, the H'Ness CB350. Expect bookings for the Meteor 350 to commence soon after its launch. The leaked pricing suggests the bike will set you back by Rs 1,68,550 (ex-showroom) -- a premium of Rs 11,900 over the Thunderbird 350.
