Hero Group’s foreign markets handed over to 12 member team

Hero Group is leaving no stone unturned to beat and come up as a global brand; in this line, the firm has appointed a 12 member team who will look after the export division of the company.



The 12 member team include Hero Honda's HR head Anandi Pandey, R&D head Harjeet Singh as part of the cross-functional team. As Hero Honda bikes, Honda bikes, TVS bikes and Bajaj bikes, Hero Group also wants to make a good position in overseas market.

It may be recalled that Hero Honda, the world’s leading JV has parted away and 26 per cent share of Honda Motors in this joint ventures has been bought by Hero Group. Now the new company-  Hero wants to foray in Indian domestic and foreign market as other key players such as Honda, Yamaha, TVS and Bajaj.

To make solid base in overseas market, the company has hired branding and innovation specialist Wolff Olins to develop a new brand identity for its innovative motorcycles. Meanwhile its most popular bikes in India like Hero Honda Splendor and Hero Honda Passion Pro would be re-branded in the month June this year.

Hero Group is working hard to set itself in the Indian two-wheeler market as a new brand announced about the launch of a 400cc diesel bike and a scooter. The company will continue with commuter bikes as well. The company is also to launch Hero bikes and Hero Scooters in the North Africa and Latin America countries.

As Japan and US based companies, Hero Group is planning to get good market share in Latin America and Nigeria with the launching of low-end bikes. The company will bring dollar 599 priced bikes in these markets. So the new generated 12 member team to get positive data to push Hero bikes in that market.
