Honda's Activa range continues to be the highest selling scooter in the country
In India, scooters have always been in great demand as they not only offer convenience but are also affordable. With the sheer number of scooters on offer today, buyers are spoilt for choice.
That said, some scooters have remained eternal favourites. Here, we look at the scooters which dominated the sales chart for April 2022:
Honda’s Activa range -- comprising Activa 6G and Activa 125 -- has yet again topped the charts. The sales for the two scooters have increased by 1.7 percent compared to March 2022.
The TVS Jupiter has yet again secured the second rank on the list. The sales for the scooter have gone up by 9.2 percent compared to last month.
The Suzuki Access 125 is again third on the list, neatly slotting in between two TVS and two Honda scooters. It witnessed a 5.9 percent increase in sales over the last month. It is followed by the TVS NTorq 125, which saw a 6.05 percent jump in sales.
The only scooter on this list to see a decline in sales was the Honda Dio. The scooter saw a 2.84 percent decline in its sales. Nevertheless, it retained its position as the fifth best-selling scooter in the country this month too.
