TVS Zest 110

TVS Scooty Zest is a lightweight scooter targeted mainly at women and new riders. It bridges the gap between the more compact, cost-effective TVS Scooty Pep Plus and the larger TVS Jupiter 110. The Zest's ease of handling, decent performance, and good mileage make it one of the top choices among budget commuters.

The Scooty Zest's design is angular, compact, and attractive. The front features a stylish apron that houses large vertically aligned indicator units along with a squared headlight unit. The halogen headlight unit is separately placed above the apron, and it provides sufficient illumination while riding at night. At the rear, the scooter offers an LED taillight setup flanked with halogen indicators. The floorboard is finished in silver oak paneling, which lends the Zest a classy look on the road.

The Zest is a very practical scooter. The leg area has an open glove box to store smaller items, and the under-seat storage of 19 liters is among the biggest in its class. This storage unit is also aided with a light and a USB charging port with additional luggage hooks.
For additional safety, the scooter also gets a parking brake with TVS's SyncBrake technology, which helps with efficient braking performance by applying both brakes at the same time. The oval rear-view mirrors are large and give a good view of the road behind.

Riding comfort on the Scooty Zest is above par, with a plush seat that feels comfortable even on longer rides. The suspension setup does an excellent job of soaking up minor road imperfections, ensuring a smooth ride. It also gets an EaZy center stand, which as per TVS, requires a reduced effort of 30% while setting the bike on or off the center stand.

The TVS Zest 110 has a 109.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine delivering a maximum power of 7.81 PS at 7500rpm and a max torque output of 8.8Nm at 5500rpm. The scooter's low weight of 103kg ensures zippy performance in city traffic despite the modest power figures.
The Zest has a claimed mileage figure of 62 kmpl under standard conditions. This, combined with its tank capacity of 5 liters, gives the Zest a range of about 300 kilometers on a full tank. The top speed stands at around 80kmph.

The scooter handles well, thanks to its front telescopic fork unit and hydraulic rear suspension setup. It has a low seat height of 760 mm, which helps with easy mounting and dismounting, even for shorter riders. The scooter is equipped with tubeless 10-inch tyres at the front and the rear, which help with easy puncture repair. However, the Zest misses out on a disc brake setup as it comes with drum brakes only. 

The TVS Scooty Zest might not pack any high-end features but it does have all the essentials required for daily commuting. It provides adequate engine performance and is light and nimble to handle. Offered in Matte Series and Gloss series, it is sold in 5 color options. Pricing starts at 74,456 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Gloss series, whereas the Matte series starts at 75,818 (ex-showroom Delhi).
