DSK Benelli, one of the fastest growing superbike brands in India, celebrated their 1st anniversary in Bangalore. On 20th March, 2015, DSK Benelli opened its first showroom in the Garden City and it has delivered 500 superbikes in Bangalore with total bookings of over 750 units till date. This is the shortest time ever for any superbike brand to achieve such a milestone in a particular city in India. The company celebrated this achievement by organising a success ride with Benelli owners.

Speaking on the achievement, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, DSK Motowheels, said, “DSK Benelli has received a truly phenomenal response in Bengaluru. There is a vibrant superbiking culture in the city, and its people have embraced DSK Benelli superbikes with great enthusiasm. We are delighted to have accomplished delivery of 500 superbikes within a year. The numbers exemplify the brand value and trust that DSK Benelli exudes. A clear sign that goes to show the acceptance of the brand by superbike enthusiasts across India as well.”

The DSK-Benelli showroom in Bengaluru, under the dealership of ‘‘Vinayak Cars Pvt. Ltd’, showcases the entire range of DSK Benelli superbikes available in India including the TNT 25 with single-cylinder 250cc engine, TNT 300 with parallel-twin 300cc engine, TNT 600i with inline four-cylinder 600cc engine, TNT 600 GT with inline four-cylinder 600cc engine, TNT 899 with inline three-cylinder 898cc engine and the flagship TNT R with inline three-cylinder 1131cc engine. The state-of-the-art showroom is located in a plush locale at Langford Avenue, No. 14, Lal Baugh Road, near Richmond Circle.

Benelli’s success in the Indian market could be largely accounted to its high quality cycle parts and competitive pricing. The range starts from Rs. 1.68 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.68 lakh (all ex-showroom, Pune). Besides, it also manufactures the most affordable inline 4-cylinder motorcycle, starting from Rs. 5.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). In this price range, Kawasaki is its only closest competitor with the Z250, the ER-6n, the Versys 650, the Z800 and the Z1000.

Benelli plans to offer  ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as standard on all its models in India. The manufacturer is also wanting to enter other cities in the country thereby making them more accessible.
