    Q.

Which bike should be preferred for my son......BMW G 310 R or Bajaj Dominar 400 ?

Selecting between the Bajaj Dominar 400 and BMW G 310 R Adventure would depend on certain factors such as your budget, brand preference, usage of the bike, features required, etc. The Dominar 400 looks good, healthy performance, competent underpinnings and a host of features. All for just Rs 1.92 lakh. If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, nothing eclipses the Dominar 400 in the sub-2 lakh rupee price bracket. Usable and exciting performance; Loaded with touring friendly accessories; Upright riding ergonomics. On the other hand, BMW G 310R, if you are looking for a powerful and premium street naked bike that is absolutely a hoot to ride thanks to its great handling dynamics and offers decently punchy motor and incredible ride quality. However, it lags behind its competition when it comes to features, and the vibes really hold it back from being ridden at speeds that the engine can easily do. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.

The engine used in the Dominar 400 is an 373.3cc DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor originating from the older-gen KTM 390 Duke’s power plant. Bajaj has done some mechanical and tuning changes to the engine which makes it more suited for touring, keeping in line with the bike’s overall design. The engine produces 40PS at 8800rpm and 35Nm at 6500rpm and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch.
