A man from Gujarat has registered himself in the Guinness Book of World Records by developing World’s longest motorcycle. As covered by carandbike.com, Bharat Sinh Parmar modified a Bajaj Discover 125 and added some metal to make it 26.29 metres long (86 feet and 3 inches), beating the previous record holder by almost 13 feet. To achieve this feat, he rode this bike for 100 metres without stopping and without any assistance. Bajaj Discover 125 used to come equipped with a 124.6cc, DTS-i motor which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine generates a maximum power of 10.9bhp at 8,000rpm with a peak torque of 10.8Nm at 5,500rpm.

Last year, Discover 125 was discontinued by the company due to a decrease in sales. Bajaj admitted that it could not taste success with multiple Discovers and will focus on creating new segments through its performance bikes. The India-based company has recently launched a commuter named as CT 100B. It is the most economical motorcycle of the country now and is available at a price of Rs. 31,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). CT 100B houses a 99.27cc, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The motor has been tuned to deliver 8.09bhp of maximum power with a peak torque of 8.05Nm. The company claims that it will return a fuel economy of 89.5kmpl and can reach a top speed of 90kmph.
