The Indian Scout Sixty Bobber is priced from Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The pricing is pretty decent for a fully-imported bike, and it serves as the entry point into Indian’s lineup.

Indian Scout Sixty Bobber Variant 

The Indian Scout Sixty Bobber is available in two variants: Base and Limited. While the base variant does not have any rider aids other than ABS, the Limited variant gets extra features like ride modes, cruise control and more. 

Indian Scout Sixty Bobber Design 

The Indian Scout Sixty Bobber, as its name suggests, gets a classic bobber silhouette along with a low-slung chassis, solo seat, long wheelbase, and a wide handlebar. The minimalistic round headlight and the chopped front and fenders give this bobber a factory-custom vibe, while other elements like the all blacked-out alloy wheels and exhausts add a touch of aggression. The bike also gets a “Indian” branding on the fuel tank that merges well with the seat.

The Indian Scout Bobber Sixty is powered by a 999cc liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that delivers 85PS and 87Nm. Unlike traditional V-twins, the peak torque in this motor comes higher up the rev range, at 6,200rpm. This engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. 

Indian Scout Sixty Bobber Chassis, Suspension And Brakes

The Indian Scout Sixty Bobber uses a double cradle frame along with conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The Indian Scout rides on 16-inch alloy wheels at both ends along with a fat 130/90 front and even fatter 150/80 rear Metzeler Cruistec tyres. Braking duties are handled by 298mm disc brakes at both ends, with a twin-piston calliper at the front and a single-piston caliper at the rear. The Scout has a low seat height of 649mm and a ground clearance of 109mm. It comes with a 13-litre fuel tank and weighs 243kg kerb. While it is a pretty heavy and a long motorcycle, the low seat height should make it manageable to move around in parking lots.

Indian Scout Sixty Bobber Features 

The Indian Scout Sixty Bobber comes equipped with a semi-digital instrument console. That  includes an analogue speedometer, digital tachometer, odometer, trip meter, engine temperature gauge, and low fuel indicator. The Base variant only gets dual channel ABS, while the Limited variant gets ride modes, cruise control, traction control and a USB charging port.

The Indian Scout Sixty Bobber competes against the Triumph Bonneville Bobber. Another alternative would be the Harley-Davidson Nightster, but it is a typical cruiser, and not a bobber.
