Indian Sport Scout Sixty Design 

The Indian Sport Scout Sixty gets a slightly sporty look when compared to other Scout  motorcycles in the lineup. This is thanks to the boxy headlight cowl along with blacked-out overall styling. The large 19-inch front wheel, tall handlebars, mid-set footpegs give a commanding riding posture. The bike gets a rider’s-only  seat, and chopped front and rear fenders that ensure the factory-custom look. The two-to-one exhaust from the V-twin engine looks elegant, especially with the ‘Indian’ branding at the end.

The Indian Sport Scout Sixty is powered by a 999cc liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that delivers 85PS and 87Nm. The peak torque is generated at 6,700rpm which is a bit high for a V-twin. That said, this engine is fairly rev-happy by cruiser standards. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. 

Indian Sport Scout Sixty Chassis, Suspension And Brakes

The Indian Sport Scout Sixty comes with a double cradle frame with a conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. This sporty cruiser rides on a 19-inch front and a 16-inch alloy wheel setup with Metzeler Cruistec tyres measuring 130/60 front and 150/80 rear. It gets 298mm disc brakes at both ends, with a twin-piston calliper at the front and a single-piston caliper at the rear. The Scout has a low seat height of 680mm and a ground clearance of 113mm. It comes with a 13-litre fuel tank and weighs 241kg kerb. Though it’s a heavy bike (but still reasonable for a cruiser), one will be able to flat-foot thanks to the accessible seat. Hence, moving the bike around shouldn’t be all that difficult.

The Indian Sport Scout Sixty comes equipped with a semi-digital instrument console. It includes an analogue speedometer, digital tachometer, odometer, trip meter, engine temperature gauge, and low fuel indicator. Electronic aids include a dual channel ABS, traction control, cruise control, and ride modes. There’s a USB charging port too.

Indian Sport Scout Sixty Competition

The IIndian Sport Scout Sixty competes in the premium cruiser category and goes up against the Harley-Davidson Nightster. That said, it is cheaper than the Nightster, which is priced at Rs 13.51 lakh (ex-showroom India).
