  Honda CBR650R comes with a switchable HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control, Honda’s speak for traction control), a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, and all-LED lighting. These aside, the CBR650R gets a full digital display with two trip meters and information such as fuel gauge and average fuel consumption. It also has a clock, gear position, and shift indicator. Also on offer is Honda’s ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) technology, which automatically activates the hazard lights in case of sudden braking, and an Ignition Security System (HISS) -- Honda’s lingo for an anti-theft system. That said, it doesn’t get smartphone connectivity yet.

  Can this bike be used for long touring, keeping comfort and mileage in mind??

  I did a 900+ mile ride on my 19 CBR650R from NC to NH in a day. With a full backpack. Only thing I did to help was bought a cheap pillow at Walmart to sit on for parts of the ride. I’m sure if/when saddlebags are available along with a slightly softer seat it’s work even better for long trips. Currently have 10300+ miles on mine.
