Selecting the perfect bike depends on various factors such as your budget, ride quality, drive type, engine performance, features required, etc. Here, Jawa is the only bike here using a short-stroke, performance-oriented engine with a 6-speed transmission. Sure it’s fast, but it lacks the retro laidback charm of an under square engine, something we think is crucial for a buyer in this segment. With the Forty Two 2.1, Jawa has managed to make its sporty roadster even more youthful. The eccentricities of the motorcycle, like its weird riding posture and limited cornering clearance, still exist. But what Jawa has managed to do is polish off the rough edges, improve the build quality of the bike and introduce extra convenience via the alloy rims. The engine is a lot more usable now, making this a hassle-free commuter. On the other hand, with the new Classic 350 Royal Enfield has managed to iron out the major niggles of its predecessor - crudeness and reliability (as we have seen with the Meteor 350). What really makes the 2021 Classic so much likable is the fact that it has the DNA of the old Classic 350 but in a more modern and usable manner. So if you are planning to buy a retro roadster, the 2021 RE Classic 350 will be our pick. Moreover, for a better understanding of performance and riding comfort, we would suggest you take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.

What is an "under square engine"? Is the vibration in classic reduced. When I test rode both, I found 42 better than classic. But it was older version.
