This Electric Motorcycle Has A 130km Range & Weighs Just 101kg!
It’s even priced at mouth-watering Rs 99,999… but there’s a catch
After unveiling it in December, PureEV has now launched its electric bike, the EcoDryft for Rs 99,999. With an overall commuterish design, the EcoDryft is available in four colours- Red, Grey, Blue & Black. Powering it is a 3kW motor, one that can propel the bike to a 75kmph claimed top speed.
What’s more interesting is its 3kWh battery pack claims a solid 130km range. Charging the same will take six hours with a 600 W charger. Features include LED lighting all around, a digital console with three riding modes, regenerative braking as well as a remote start-stop system. In fact, at 101kg, it’s extremely light too!

The EcoDryft is suspended on a telescopic fork and twin shock setup and rolls on an 18-/17-inch wheel setup. All of this, for a paltry Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom, including state subsidy), sounds tempting doesn’t it? Well, you see, that offer is only limited to buyers in New Delhi. The rest of India, meanwhile, will have to shell out Rs 1,14,999 (ex-showroom, exclusive of state subsidy). That said, even that sounds like a good deal for a bike that promises to be a fun, eco-friendly commuter.
