Thankfully, the hike isn’t that big that it’ll burn too big a hole in your pocket

Along with the popular Splendor and HF Deluxe range, Hero MotoCorp has also hiked the prices of its premium lineup consisting of motorcycles in the 160cc as well as the 200cc segments. The Hero Xtreme 160R, Xtreme 200S, and the XPulse 200 have now become slightly more expensive. Here’s the latest ex-showroom Delhi price list:

XPulse 200

Hero says the price revision is to partially offset the rising commodity costs. But despite the hikes, the Hero Xtreme 160R remains one of the most affordable streetfighters in the 160cc segment. Even the Hero Xtreme 200S retains its crown of being the least expensive fully-faired bike, undercutting even the smaller-engined Suzuki Gixxer SF by almost Rs 8,000.

And as far as the adventure touring segment is concerned, the Hero XPulse 200 is still the most value-for-money motorcycle for your off-road shenanigans. Even if you spend an extra 38,000 rupees for the hardcore Rally Kit specifically designed for this motorcycle, it will still be a lot more affordable than the Royal Enfield Himalayan
