Royal Enfield showcased two customised Continental GT 650s and a modified Himalayan

The 10th edition of the Bike Shed London Show was a treat for motorcycle connoisseurs. The Bike Shed London Show is quite an outlandish event where only the best motorcycle manufacturers and custom bike builders are invited. The motorcycles that eventually make it to the show floor are curated by the organisers themselves. There’s an air of exclusivity around the show as the custom motorcycles displayed at the event are ones that have never been seen before by the public. So you can expect the very best bike builders to display their creations here. This year’s edition saw Royal Enfield display three custom creations.

Midas Royale by Rough Crafts:
Based on a Continental GT 650, the Midas Royale is a cafe racer with a serious bit of kit. The bodywork, including the fuel tank, tail section and fairing, are made with the aid of 3D printing and crafted out of carbon fibre. It also features high tech suspension components like Ohlins FGRT213s forks with CNC Racing triple clamps and Ohlins TTX GP TR469 monoshock. The allow wheels are shod with racing slicks. Other highlights include a custom made HPM Racing swingarm and SC Project exhaust.

Continental GT 650 with Harris Performance:
Royal Enfield approached Harris Performance to have a race-ready Continental GT 650 and the result is what you see here. The bike gets a full fairing with a round LED headlamp, smoked visor and a gorgeous two-tone paint job. It gets lowered clip-ons, Ohlins front and rear suspension, and sportier brakes and tyres. Not only is the result eye-catching, it is quite a usable motorcycle as well.

MJR Roach:
This looks like a post-apocalyptic Himalayan with a grey frame, knobby tyres and a turbocharged motor. Yes, the bike gets a turbocharger that sits behind the rear monoshock and sends extra shove of torque to the fat rear wheel mounted on a single-sided swingarm. It gets other handcrafted parts, including an alien-like projector headlamp stack and an aluminium visor. It also gets upside down forks and a single seat. The rear seat has been binned in favour of a rack to carry survival essentials.
