Harley Davidson Iron 883

Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883 is a strikingly appealing bike that is given a comfortable cruiser look with an elongated wheelbase and a low sitting position with its seat just 760 mm above the ground. The bike gets appointed with an authentic “tuck and roll” design that adds to the plush feel. Fenders are chopped off a little to highlight the rubber. The dominating large round headlamps of the Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883 follows the same classic code and the long forks make up for the cruiser look. The bike has 19-inch front wheels and 16-inch rear wheels, which look great owing to their 150mm width. 

The capable throttle power that the Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883 gets is a result of the Evolution V-twin 883 cc air-cooled engine unit that is engineered well to deliver high peak power and torque ratios of 50.6 PS @ 5500 rpm and 70 Nm at 3500 rpm respectively. This powerful V-twin unit is rubber-mounted to damp the vibrations it is capable of producing and in fitted in a bare-bone chassis. This machine is equipped with a 5–speed transmission gearbox that makes up for seamless power transmission to the 9 spoke wheels of the bike.

The powerful dynamism that the bulky cruiser sports can be controlled by its capable braking system that is a product of  300 mm front disc brakes with dual piston caliper and 260 mm rear disc unit. Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883 features a firm (yet not harsh) suspension assembly that comprises of non-adjustable 39 mm front fork units and preloaded-adjustable emulsion shock absorber at the rear end.

The powerful cruiser from Harley Davidson scores high on safety as well. The bike is encased with the mandatory AHO (Auto Headlamp ON) feature that ensures that the headlamp of the bike remains ON at any time of the day, so as to reduce the chance of road accidents as a result of poor road visibility. With this, the bike gives an ABS option for more stable braking performance.
