I bought Bajaj Discover 100 M few months back, I thought it was a great deal having a totally new model of Discover series. The company claimed the bike returns a mileage of 84kmpl, however, I never received even 70kmpl. I was disappointed with the self start as well as the bike didn’t start before freaking me out. Kick start was also not helpful at the time, I guess it was the DTS-I technology, which didn’t work with the engine well and caused me the damage. On the other hand, the bike runs quite well, the power is decent.
The lightweight motorcycle is easy to steer and handle. The control over the bike is also quite strong with the fine wheelbase and the minimum ground clearance. The instrument cluster is elegant but not digital. Tubeless tyres are not available with the bike but front disc brake comes as an option, which is a good deal. The chain of the bike also looses with time and it has been a problem with Bajaj bikes, which they must look on to very seriously. Overall my experience with the bike is not very good and I would rather by Hero bike.
