Yet another action-packed week with a lot of interesting two-wheeler happenings

2021 might be coming to a close but that hasn’t slowed down the two-wheeler industry one bit. And the second week of December was lively as ever. Here are the top five news happenings from the week that went by:

Simple One Electric Scooter Spotted

Exclusive: Simple One Spied Testing Ahead Of Deliveries

The Simple One electric scooter was spotted undergoing final phases of testing on public roads, before commencing deliveries next year. According to sources, the main aim of these tests is to ensure optimal performance, range, and durability. Royal Enfield Scram & Updated Interceptor 650 Spied Testing

EXCLUSIVE: Royal Enfield Scram Spied In Grey Colour Ahead Of Launch


Royal Enfield’s upcoming scrambler, the Scram 411, was spotted testing twice this week. Once in Goa, in a production-ready avatar, probably on its way for a TVC shoot. And secondly in Chennai, wrapped in a grey colour undergoing highway testing.

Not only this, even the 2022 Interceptor 650 was spotted separately, bearing a new exhaust system. This could make it lighter and more practical for tight spaces.

Ola Electric FINALLY Commences Deliveries!


After a long delay, Ola Electric finally commenced deliveries of the S1 and S1 Pro. While this is a good sign for Ola customers, the first batch of scooters were missing some crucial features. Benelli TRK 251 Launched In India

BREAKING: Benelli TRK 251 Launched At Rs 2.51 Lakh


The entry-level ADV segment in India has heated up quite a bit in the past few years. And the latest entrant is the TRK 251, Benelli’s first sub-500cc adventure bike for our market. The TRK 251 offers a good blend of power and features, but at Rs 2.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), it costs Rs 16,000 more than the better-specced KTM 250 Adventure. TVS NTorq 125 Spiderman & Thor Editions Launched


Just when Spiderman fans were going gaga over the latest movie, TVS took the opportunity and launched a special Spiderman livery for the NTorq 125. Along with it, the company also introduced a Thor edition of the scooter. Both scooters cost Rs 84,850 (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be sold under TVS’ SuperSquad editions.
