It’s been a busy week indeed. We’ve witnessed new launches, manufactures testing upcoming models and rolling out updates on existing ones. Meanwhile, Okinawa unveiled its plans of introducing its very own electric bike. Here’s a list of the top five news stories that made headlines this week just in case you missed out.

 

2020 Yamaha MT-03 Unveiled:

The Japanese manufacturer unveiled the 2020 iteration of the MT-03, which takes its design cues from the famed MT-09. Thanks to this, it looks much sharper and angular than before. But the updates aren't just restricted to the design. In fact, the bike boasts of new features and is reportedly sportier than before. Head here for more details.

 

Benelli Leoncino 250 Launched:

Benelli had set the stage for the launch of the Imperiale 400 in India on October 25. However, it surprised us all by launching the smaller, quarter-litre Leoncino earlier than expected. The bike looks like a toned-down version of its elder sibling, the Leoncino 500, but differentiates itself in a couple of different ways. 

 

Apache RTR 200 4V With Bluetooth Connectivity Launched:

Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer TVS has launched the Apache RTR 200 4V with its unique  SmartXonnect system which syncs the bike’s instrument console to your smartphone. That said, the extra feature does come at a premium. Click here for more details.

 

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Spotted Testing 

Here’s some good news for all you enthusiasts who have been eagerly waiting for the Huskies to be launched in India. The Svartpilen 401, which is Husqvarna’s take on a scrambler, has been spotted testing on Indian roads and looks almost production-ready. Okinawa To Launch Electric Bike:

Okinawa has revealed its plans of launching its very own electric bike in a bid to take on Revolt Motors. According to the brand, the bike will have a range of 150km and a top speed of 100kmph, which puts it on par with the RV400. Head here for the expected price.
