Suzuki GSX R1000 to be launched by end of the year

World's major auto major, Suzuki Motor is going to launch its new premium sport bike Suzuki GSX-R1000 in India by the end of 2010. The company has already launched its high-end capacity sportbike in India including Suzuki Hayabusa and Suzuki Intruder in the country last year. It's such a wonderful bike in the superbikes segment. After using in the movies, this type of bikes people's wants to take a ride at least once. The new GSX-R1000 has been fitted with DOHC, 16-valve, TSCC engine which delivers a maximum power of 160Bhp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 110Nm at 8000 rpm. It also comes fitted with 6 gears box transmission system. Suzuki GSX-R1000 is a heavy weight sportbike and it has a fuel tank capacity of 17.50 ltrs. Suzuki GSX-R1000 fuel capacity in city is around 25kmpl and in highway it is 35kmpl. But the company has not announced its launch date and price tag officially. As per some news sources, the new sportbike is expected to be priced at between Rs 10-10.5 lakh. Apart from it, Harley-Davidson has launched its 12 new cruiser bikes and booking has also started in India. In India, cruiser bike lovers will get their own bikes very soon. Suzuki GSX-R1000 will have tough competition from other sportbikes, which has already launched and going to be launched soon in India. The company's targeting to get more market share in the high-end capacity segment.
