2024 Suzuki Access 125 Spotted Testing: Here’s Our First Look At The Scooter
It has undergone a bit of design changes, but sadly doesn’t have a 12-inch rear wheel yet

Suzuki has been working on updating India’s best selling 125cc scooter, the Suzuki Access 125. Recently spy shots of the 2024 Suzuki Access 125 being tested surfaced online, and the images have revealed quite a bit, giving us an idea of what we can expect.
For starters, the scooter now comes with an updated design with a few bits being changed here and there. The headlight section is a new one, featuring what appears to be a more rectangular LED headlight. The new Access retains the same front fender as the outgoing scooter but now comes with blacked out wheels and fork.

Additionally, the apron has been tweaked a bit and now looks a bit sharper than what we have seen on the outgoing Access. It also includes cubby holes at both sides for extra storage. The scooter also has a utility hook below the seat, just like the existing one.
Suzuki has also brought in a new seat, and this one looks a bit more sleek especially at the front. The pillion grabrail looks similar and is a chunky single piece unit. The rear section now features a LED tail light.

In terms of features, the Access now has a hazard light function, as evident by the spy shots of both the rear indicators blinking at the same time. The new 2024 Access 125 will also get a fully-digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity, bringing features like turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts and message notifications depending on the variant.
Other than these design changes, we don’t see anything different in the scooter. It is likely to be powered by the same 124cc engine which produces 8.7PS and 10Nm. The scooter is built on an underbone frame and is suspended on a telescopic fork and single shock absorber. It rolls on a 12-inch alloy wheel at front and 10-inch alloy wheel in the rear. While the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 got a 12-inch rear wheel as part of an update back in 2022, the Access is still yet to get one, which is a bit disappointing, to be honest.

Suzuki Access 125 [2020-2024] User Reviews
- Sooter for your family that makes your life easier- The scooty is going to save you a lot of money in servicing as maintenance is easy. - Ride is comfortable, even if you are a heavy person like me. - Mileage I get from this scooty is around 40 to 45 Kmpl. - Storage space is quite sufficient for 1 helmet under the seat. Also you have storage in the front, that you can use for regular shopping. - The pillion seat is quite low so, mounting on the bike won't be an issue for the elderly people. Like my father.Read More

- Suzuki Access 125 Review, 2 year experienceInitially the stock battery was very worst, it used to dry very often. And sometimes there is a vibration when I start the vehicle and run on low rpm, even the showroom didn't rectify it. Maintence is subjective to users, if we dont service often, it will show side effects like vibration, sound, pickup issues etc. Speed, Mileage, Comfort all are fineRead More
