Here are your alternatives to the most expensive Royal Enfield bike yet

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has finally made its debut and with prices ranging between Rs 3.49 lakh and Rs 3.79 lakh (ex-showroom India), it is the most expensive bike from the company. If you are looking to spend that much, the market has some interesting alternatives to offer:

QJ Motor SRK 400: Rs 3.59 lakh

Okay, this naked’s 41.46PS and 37Nm is no match for the Super Meteor 650’s 47PS and 52.3Nm. But at 186kg (kerb), the SRK 400 is 55kg lighter than Royal Enfield’s cruiser. Plus, you’ll enjoy unique styling and a big bike-like exhaust note.

KTM 390 Adventure: Rs 3.37 lakh

If you are planning to do long distance touring, the Super Meteor 650’s 135mm ground clearance may not be the best for the Indian riding conditions. With 200mm of ground clearance and a punchy engine, not only can you go through bad roads with ease but also with 44PS and 37Nm on tap, the bike will keep you entertained too.

Keeway V302C: Rs 3.89 lakh

But if cruisers are your thing, the Keeway V302C has all the elements of a proper American cruiser. A V-twin engine, belt final drive and muscular looks. That said, its 30PS and 26.5Nm may not appeal to you if you have ridden any bike from Royal Enfield’s 650 platform.

Ultraviolette F77: Rs 3.80 lakh

If you are spending almost Rs 4 lakh, wouldn’t saving up on your running costs be a big boon? Even though the F77 demands as much as the Super Meteor 650, its running cost will be a fraction of that of the Royal Enfield cruiser. But with a claimed range of 206km, long rides may not be its forte.

Royal Enfield Continental GT 650: Rs 3.31 lakh

But if you are smitten by Royal Enfield’s 650 platform, why not buy the top-of-the-line variant of the Continental GT 650, while saving at least Rs 20,000. Plus, with clip-on handlebars and superbike-like rake angle, you’ll have a proper performance-oriented cafe racer at hand.
