Same problem ( Silencer getting red hot) was there in my Bike too and then i myself identified problem was with the firing of cylinder . One cylinder was not firing at all due to bad Spark plug. The temp of tghis cylinder was lesser than other cylinder. After replacing the Spark plug ( with new one) problem solved.
