Exciting new motorcycles launched in India this week!
The Indian automotive fraternity saw exciting launches from automotive manufacturers like Royal Enfield, KTM, Ola this week along with some more exciting news about your favourite two wheelers. Here’s an overlook on what happened this week:
Royal Enfield’s ‘Limited Edition’ Shotgun 650 Launched
Chennai-based Indian automotive manufacturer has collaborated with ‘Icon Motosports’, an Oregon based custom motorcycle builder, to launch the limited edition Shotgun 650 inspired by their ‘Always Something’ custom motorcycle. The bike gets design elements inspired by the ‘Always Something’ along with a special livery.
KTM Adventure Range Launched
KTM launched three new ADV bikes for the Indian market: The 390 Adventure, the 390 Adventure X and the 250 Adventure. All the three bikes have now become technologically more advanced,get rally-inspired design, make more power, and are more capable ADVs now. With production of these bikes already started, KTM India is expected to start deliveries this month itself.
Ola Roadster X and X+ Launched
Ola Electric launched two new electric motorcycles this week: Roadster X and Roadster X+. With production of these motorcycles already started, we can see these on Indian roads soon. The bikes are priced very competitively and the top variant of the Roadster X+ offers massive range figures, unseen on bikes in segment and beyond.
Import Duty On Premium Imported Bikes Reduced
The premium motorcycle segment, complete built units (CBUs) along with semi-knocked down (SKD) and completely knocked down (CKD) units have received a major reduction in import duties from the Indian Government in the latest budget for financial year 2025.
