Ola Electric has officially launched the Roadster X and the Roadster X Plus in India. Starting at Rs 74,999, the Roadster X is the more affordable one and the Roadster Plus is the more premium offering, with prices starting from Rs 1,04,999 (both prices ex-showroom, introductory).
Prices & Rivals
The Ola Roadster X comes in three variants: 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh and 4.5kWh. The Roadster X 2.5kWh variant is priced at Rs 89,999, the 3.5kWh variant costs Rs 99,999 and the top 4.5kWh variant is available for Rs 1,09,999 (all prices ex-showroom).
The Ola Roadster X Plus is available in 2 variants: 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh. The Roadster X Plus 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh variants are available for Rs 1,19,999 and Rs 1,69,999 (all prices ex-showroom) respectively. However, Ola is offering an introductory discount of Rs 15,000 for the next 7 days over the ex-showroom prices of all its electric bikes:

The Ola Roadster X range rivals other affordable electric bikes like the Oben Rorr EZ, Revolt RV1, Revolt RV400 BRZ and the PURE EV EcoDryft. Whereas, the Roadster X Plus rivals the more premium electric bikes like the Oben Rorr, Revolt RV400 and the Matter Aera.

The Roadster X and X Plus range is equipped with a 4.3-inch colour LCD instrument console. It also has smartphone connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, remote unlock, and more. The electric bike also gets three ride modes: Sports, Normal and Eco. Both electric bikes also get a small boot storage space to carry the charger. The Roadster X Plus also gets additional reverse mode and cruise control.
The Ola Roadster X and X Plus electric bikes have a telescopic fork and dual rear shock absorbers. For braking, the Roadster X has drum brakes on both ends, with CBS (combined braking systems) and the Roadster X Plus uses a front disc and a rear drum brake, with a single-channel ABS as standard. Both Ola electric bikes come fitted with 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped with rear tubeless tyres.
Ola Roadster X and X Plus Deliveries
Ola Electric has announced that the deliveries for the Ola Roadster X range and X Plus 4.5kWh will start in mid-March 2025. However, the Roadster X Plus 9.1kWh variant’s deliveries will start after April 2025.
