The FADA (Federation Of Automobile Dealers Association) sales data for November 2025 brings some interesting insights about electric scooter sales in India. As far as best-selling EV brands are concerned, a lot has changed in just a year. Here’s a quick look at the top five best selling EV brands in November 2025:

    TVS Motor Company

TVS holds the crown of the best-selling EV brand in India in November, with a healthy 30,000+ units sold. This list includes all variants of the TVS iQube, TVS Orbiter, and the TVS X. While the month-on-month growth is a small 2.82%, the year-on-year sales witnessed an impressive 11.02% increase. The TVS iQube range perfected the family electric scooter formula, whereas the Orbiter is designed to target a younger audience thanks to its funky looks, and affordability.

    Bajaj Auto

Although Bajaj Auto is still at a respectable second place in the sales charts, the figures show a decline of 18.18% in terms of Month-on-Month sales, and 3.23% decline in terms of Year-on-Year sales. Looks like the festive surge fizzled out in November. That said, Bajaj has some interesting strategy in place for the near future as it’s been working hard on a Bajaj electric motorcycle platform. Bajaj is also working on launching the next-generation Chetak electric scooter, likely in early 2026.

    Ather Energy

Bengaluru based EV manufacturer, Ather Energy’s numbers also show a similar trend as Bajaj, but when compared to the same month last year, the brand is in a much better position with an incredible 56.98% increase in terms of Year-on-Year sales. This is mainly thanks to all the updates on the Ather 450X as well as the Rizta

    Hero MotoCorp - Vida

Hero’s electric vehicle division, Vida, witnessed a 23.44% decline in Month-on-Month sales. That said, its sales have been steadily increasing when compared to 2024, as it witnessed a 66.12% year-on-year growth. Vida still has a long way to go if it were to catch up with TVS and Bajaj. Sure, it’s got a healthy variant lineup under both the Vida V2 and VX2 models, but Hero will have to strengthen its charging infrastructure as well as its sales and service reach.

    Ola Electric

This Bengaluru based EV manufacturer has a wide variety of EVs including the Roadster electric bike range. That said, most of the sales are likely to come in from the electric scooter range. While Ola Electric was one of the best-selling brands in 2024, things have taken a drastic turn this year. With a 47.61% drop in month-on-month sales, and an even more worrying 71.35% decline in year-on-year numbers, Ola has its work cut out. Hopefully, things should get better in the coming months now that Ola has started rolling out its made-in-India cells, starting with the Ola S1 Pro Plus

Honourable Mention: Greaves Electric Mobility’s Ampere E-scooter range:

Coimbatore-based Greaves Electric Mobility’s Ampere electric scooter range is really hot on the heels of Ola Electric with 5,764 units sold in November 2025, a good 28.92% jump in the year-on-year sales. The brand’s key products include the Nexus and Magnus range, and if Ampere maintains this pace, it will be able to go head-to-head with the Vida’s sales numbers in the future.
