Which Ola electric scooter should you buy? We help you decide

Ola S1 Pro vs Ola S1 X Detailed Comparison: Price, Range, Features & Performance

With electric scooter line-ups expanding rapidly and multiple models sharing the same battery platform, choosing between two scooters from the same brand can get a bit confusing. That’s exactly the case with the Ola S1 Pro (4kWh) and the Ola S1 X (4kWh). While both scooters pack the same battery capacity and promise similar range figures, they are aimed at different kinds of buyers. One focuses on performance and tech, while the other prioritises accessibility and value. So, let’s take a closer look at what sets the two apart:

    • The Ola S1 Pro sits higher in Ola Electric’s lineup and is positioned as a feature-rich, performance-focused electric scooter.

    • The Ola S1 X, meanwhile, is aimed at riders looking for a more affordable and straightforward electric scooter experience, without sacrificing range or everyday usability.

    • As you can see, both of these e-scooters get multiple variants, but we will be considering only the top variants for easier understanding.

    • The S1 Pro is clearly the more performance-oriented scooter here. Its higher peak power output and the addition of Hyper mode give it quicker acceleration and a more aggressive riding character, especially in city traffic, and during quick overtakes.

    • The S1 X, while slightly slower off the line, still offers more than enough performance for daily commuting. Its acceleration figures are respectable for an EV of this segment. The absence of Hyper mode means it will have a relaxed mannerism compared to the S1 Pro.

    • Both scooters share the same basic proportions, making them equally accessible for a wide range of riders. The S1 Pro’s slightly wider body gives it a bulkier, more premium stance, while the S1 X looks slimmer and more subtle.

    • Seat height, ground clearance, and wheelbase being identical means comfort and manoeuvrability remain largely the same across both models.

    • This is where the S1 Pro gains a clear hardware advantage. Disc brakes at both ends offer better stopping power and feel, especially at higher speeds.

    • The S1 X’s drum brakes are adequate for everyday commuting but don’t inspire the same confidence under hard braking.

    • The alloy wheels on the S1 Pro further enhance its premium appeal, while the steel wheels on the S1 X underline its value-focused positioning.

    • The S1 Pro is the clear winner in terms of features. Its large touchscreen, keyless operation, in-built speaker, and additional riding modes make it feel far more tech-forward.

    • The S1 X keeps things simpler, with a smaller LCD console and physical key, which may actually appeal to riders who prefer not having overly complicated digital things.

    • Both scooters are evenly matched here, offering identical warranty coverage, which should help reduce long-term ownership concerns.

    Verdict

The Ola S1 Pro is clearly aimed at riders who want performance, technology, and premium hardware. With quicker acceleration, more riding modes, and a feature-rich touchscreen interface, it’s the scooter to choose if you enjoy spirited riding and cutting-edge tech.

The Ola S1 X, on the other hand, is built for riders who want the same range and core performance at a more accessible level. It skips some of the premium features but retains the essentials, making it a sensible option for daily commuting.

Petrol se chutkara, eco mode, budget me saving bad jati hai, safe option, maintenance kam hai, kam paise me jayda distance cover hoti hai, look bhi actrive hai, pani m aasani se nikal jaati hai, battery ki warranty bhi achi aati hai. Eco mode me jayda distance cover hoti hai, or sports mode me chalne me jayda maja aata hai, or sports mode me bhi control bhut mst hota hai, aasani se or pickup bhi acha hai, or mileage bhi bhut acha deti hai, 145 to 150 km per charing me or pani me to rukti nai hai, pehle bike pr risk hota tha pani me se nikalne ka pr isme koi tension nai hoti. Jo students hai, jo office me jate hai, or jo up down krta hai 100 s 150 km us ke liye best hai, petrol ki bhi tension nai hoti aasni se handel ho jati hai, girls, old man and women's food delivery walo ke liye or apna personal business ke liye bhi best hai, koi farmer shop pr vegetable or food sell kr saktha hai aasni se or paise bhi jayda bachte hai, petrol ke paise bhi nai lagte.
