    KTM has officially launched the highly anticipated 2025 390 Adventure in India at Rs 3,67,699. Alongside it, the brand has also launched the 390 Adventure X at Rs 2,91,140, and the 250 Adventure at Rs 2,59,850 (all prices ex-showroom). The deliveries of the bikes will begin from February 2025.

    390 Adventure

    The new KTM 390 Adventure is priced at Rs 3,67,699 (ex-showroom Delhi), placing it in the competitive sub-500cc adventure bike segment. This model comes packed with a list of features like cornering ABS, traction control, cruise control, three ride modes: Street, Rain, and Off-road, cornering ABS, and switchable ABS modes. The suspension setup is fully adjustable on both ends, with compression, rebound in front; and pre-load, rebound adjustability at the rear. The bike is equipped with a 21-inch wheel front with a 90-section tyre, and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 130-section tyre, both spoked rims and with tubeless tyres. It gets a seat height of 830mm.

    390 Adventure X

    Along with the 390 Adventure, KTM has also launched the Adventure X in India at Rs 2,91,140 (ex-showroom Delhi). it is positioned as the more road focused, highway touring, and affordable variant. The X offers many of the same core features but without features like ride modes, traction control, and fully adjustable suspension, only the monoshock has pre-load adjustability. The Adventure X is for riders who want a capable adventure bike, but at a lower price point. It comes with a 19-inch front with a 100-section tyre, and a 17-inch rear with a 130-section tyre, both cast alloy wheels, and a seat height of 825mm.

    Engine

    Both bikes share the same 398cc, LC4C liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine found in the 390 Duke and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, but here produces 46PS at 8500rpm and 39Nm at 6500rpm. The 390 Adventure range rivals bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the upcoming Hero XPulse 421, and the BMW G 310 GS.

    250 Adventure

    In addition to the 390 Adventure and X, the 250 Adventure has also been launched priced at Rs 2,59,850 (ex-showroom). It gets the same only pre-load adjustable monoshock, and wheel setup as the 390 Adventure X. It is meant for riders looking for a lighter, more accessible option in the adventure bike segment, with its 177kg kerb weight and 825mm seat height. The 250 Adventure shares its design and features with the 390 twins, but with the 249cc engine shared with the Duke 250 and Husqvarna Vitpilen 250. It produces 31PS at 9250rpm and 25Nm at 7250rpm. It offers a good balance of power and agility, making it ideal for both beginner and intermediate adventure riders. The 250 Adventure is also more affordable, appealing to a broader range of riders interested in exploring trails. It goes up against rivals like the Suzuki V-Storm SX, the upcoming TVS RTX 300, and the Yezdi Adventure.

    Shared Components

    All three bikes share the same chassis platform, six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, steel trellis frame, all LED lighting, projector LED headlight, bi-directional quickshifter, 5-inch colour TFT display for the instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, USB type-C charging port, 14-litre fuel tank capacity, WP Apex 43mm inverted fork and monoshock with 200mm of travel at the front and 205mm at the rear, 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brake, a wheelbase of 1464mm, ground clearance of 227mm, and dual-channel ABS. They all get two colour options: White and Orange, but in different combinations like Orange/White for the 390 Adventure, but Orange/Black in the case of the X and the 250.

It will take on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 head on and challenge its popularity.
