The Suzuki V-Strom SX’s styling draws inspiration from the larger V-Storm models like the 650 XT, 800 DE, and 1050. It gets a front beak, an octagonal headlamp, triangular tail lamp, a split seat setup, knuckle guards, a compact windscreen, a sump guard, and a dual-exit exhaust muffler.

The Suzuki V-Strom SX has a 249cc, 4-valve, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 26.5PS at 9,300rpm, 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Suzuki V-Strom SX gets a diamond chassis, telescopic fork with 120mm travel, monoshock with preload adjustability, front and rear disc brakes. It rolls on a 19-inch front wheel with a 100-section tyre and a 17-inch rear with a 140-section - both MRF Mogrip Meteor semi-block pattern tubeless tyres. It has a 167kg kerb weight, 835mm seat height, 205mm ground clearance, and a 12-litre fuel tank.

The Suzuki V-Strom SX comes with an LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity via the Suzuki Ride Connect App, which also adds turn-by-turn navigation and phone alerts. Other features include a silent starter, USB charging port, dual-channel ABS, LED headlight and tail light, halogen indicators.
Suzuki V-Strom SX Competition
The Suzuki V-Strom SX rivals the Hero XPulse 210, KTM 250 Adventure, Royal Enfield Scram 440, Yezdi Adventure and the upcoming TVS Apache RTX 300. It sits above the XPulse, below the 250 Adventure - but is on par with the rest in terms of price. The KTM and Yezdi Adventure are more powerful while the rest have similar power outputs.
