    After the launch of Suzuki GSX-S1000, Suzuki has landed into the niche category offering amazing naked liter-class sportbike . It is the new member of the legendary GSX family marked by the same heart throbbing appearance .     The bike is propelled by a 999cc, in-line four cylinder, four-stroke engine mated to a six-speed transmission. The DOHC powerplant develops a maximum power of 144 bhp at 10000 RPM with a peak torque of 105.75 Nm at 9500 RPM. It comes with an electronic fuel injection system which helps in immense power delivery of the bike.

    This sportsbike moves on grippy 120/70ZR17M/C and 190/50ZR17M/C tubeless tyres at the both front and rear end respectively. The suspension system comprises of inverted telescopic forks at the front and link type, coil spring monoshock at the rear . Besides this, the manufacturer bestowed it with a dual 310mm disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear aided with an Anti-Lock Braking System that offers superior stability.

    This bike has a acute and edgy body characteristics that make it a true naked sportbike in every sense. The front profile comes with pointed headlamp integrated with twin positioning lights. The fuel tank is neatly designed and looks amazing with the integration of edgy fuel tank cowls.       Suzuki GSX-S1000 Latest Updates

      The 2025 Suzuki GSX-S1000 is the naked sibling of the Suzuki GSX-R1000. The naked bike comes with a typical streetfighter design. At the front, the vertically stacked LED headlight gives it a more futuristic look. The Suzuki GSX-S1000 is on sale in the USA  for USD 11,909, which is equivalent to about Rs 10,10,611 (ex-showroom). It is available in two different colours: Metallic Matte Sword Silver and Glass Sparkle Black.

      The GSX-S1000 is powered by a 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine that produces a peak output of 154PS at 10,000rpm and 106Nm at 9,250 rpm. It is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quick shifter. It also has a ride-by-wire throttle.

      In terms of features, the bike gets a 5-inch TFT colour LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity. It also gets a five-level traction control system (TCS), Suzuki Easy Start System, and the Low RPM Assist System. The bike also has 3 ride modes: Mode A (Active), Mode B (Basic) and Mode C (Comfort).

      The Suzuki GSX-S1000 gets an inverted fork and a link-type monoshock suspension setup. The braking setup consists of Brembo, 4-piston, twin disc brakes at the front and a Nissin, single-piston, single disc brake at the rear, with dual channel ABS as standard.

      The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped with 120-section front and 150-section rear tubeless tyres. It has a 19-litre fuel tank capacity, a seat height of 810mm, ground clearance of 140mm and a kerb weight of 214kg.

      It competes with the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja Z1000, BMW S1000R, Suzuki Katana, Honda CB1000 and the Yamaha MT-10, in the international market.
